Trying and Buying with Warby Parker

Michael's been a contact lens wearer for quite some time now. He really preferred it that way, until we discovered just how much more cost effective glasses were. Like, way cheaper. And with a career change pending, an upcoming move, the beginning of a new school year, and wedding planning in the works- we need all the cheap we can get. So, all aboard the glasses train.

The only issue was that the frames he owned were small, unflattering, and above all else; on their last limb. Quite literally. One "limb" was holding on by nothing more than a paperclip rigged to keep the frames together. So we decided that if he was going to opt to go back to glasses, he needed to get a new (and better looking) pair, that would last him a long time.

I've been a fan of Warby Parker glasses for a while now. The sunglasses I bought from their website last year, are still my favorite pair, hands down. I love that you can order up to five frames from their website to try on, risk free! Whether you like a pair or not, you never pay for the try-on program. You pack them up five days later and send them on back with the provided shipping label. I love the modern choices Warby Parker has to offer.  Michael loves not leaving the house. It seemed like a no brainer.

Michael knew he wanted a new pair of frames with a bit more thickness and shape. He picked out the Wilder, Vaughan, Keen, Orson, and Eaton frames to try on. They arrived within just a few days, and almost instantly we had our decision! The Wilder frames were definitely our favorite! He put in his new order, input his prescription information, and they were on our doorstep before the end of the week. If you're in the market for a new pair of glasses, without the hassle- Warby Parker has you covered.

A new pair of frames can definitely do the trick too! If you don't believe me, just check out this before and after!

Michael's new Wilder frames are so much more flattering to his face shape, and I joke with him that now he looks "intentionally nerdy" instead of just "actually nerdy." Seriously though, how cute is he?! All in all, I'd say switching to glasses was a good choice. Shopping was quick, minimal, and easy. Michael's happy (and totally feeling himself, by the way.) And, ya know, I'm feeling it too. Bow-chicka-wow-wow. Heh.
