If you follow me on instagram you’ll know we had quite the Fourth of July! We drove out to meet our friends Monica and Anthony, their daughter Victoria, and several of their friends in the beautiful Amelia Island. It was nearly an hour drive but quite worth it! The weather was beautiful all day long, with a slight breeze and sunny skies. From what I hear the areas around us got a bit of thunder and rain, but there was no cloud in sight near us.
We picked Riley up some brand new neon sand toys on the way and he couldn’t have been happier! He became quite obsessed with having himself buried which was an absolute hoot! He also got to give the boogie board a go for the very first time with Dad, and man was he a sight to see (Although I’m not sure who had more fun with that one, Riley or Michael!) It was really great to get out and enjoy the sun and some beautiful fireworks at the end of the night, and we couldn’t have asked for better company. We all had a blast! Riley seemed to enjoy himself the most- we could tell by the end of the night because he zonked out two minutes into our car ride home!
All in all a really successful Fourth! How did you spend your fourth? I hope your time was as enjoyable for you as ours was for us! I definitely don’t take a single second for granted and am so thankful to have the opportunity to share these wonderful moments with great friends and family. Many thanks to the incredible men and women who have sacrificed so much to give us what we have today! Much love my friends!
